How can they afford to release this game for free?

I mean, i've been playing a ton of it and I'm loving it very much and I'm genuinely curious, how can a company create a game, release it for free and benefit in any way?

this company has a lot of free MMOs and each one has a cash shop to buy items in. There are also a ton of affiliate programs that they have for people to get free points, like downloading 3rd party software/games or surveys.

i'm playing for free now, but if the game provides me with a good amount of meaningful content in the later levels, i'll probably be paying $10/mo or so to support them by getting the cash shop goodies. that's basically the free-to-play model

Do you know of any for this game? I looked on the website but it just gives me a blank page.

you can get to the cash shop in game pretty easy and see the stuff, starter leveling pack for $5 worth of points, potions, ressurrect scrolls, item enchant things, few others can't really remember hehe.

basic setup is to load "zen" on your account for $$$ on the website, then use the points in game

yea they probably haven't made a web page for it yet, but its available within the game, animated button at the bottom that grabs your attention
