Just read forums from official site. I guess there are some problems moving to specific areas. Bug maybe. But this guy is just doing tutorial and can't finish because of bug? Guess I'll wait for many reviews...

Not always. Small indie titles like this don't work in the same way that big titles do. If a big title isn't sent out early, yes, worry. But for smaller titles, it's not always the case.

A game using a very popular and commercial license is indie?

Indie doesn't mean it has to be 3 guys making a game. Cyanide is an independent studio, with no backing of big publishers like EA or Ubisoft.

One would assume that a smaller 'indie' group would send out more gameplay footage and whatnot to help market their game. The simple fact that very little to zero gameplay exist anywhere doesnt exactly boost my inner confidence for the game.

Hoping Im wrong though.

Indie doesn't mean "not backed by EA or Ubisoft," either. Didn't they have Focus Interactive's backing?

AFAIK, Focus only serves as the publisher with Cyanide funding the game themselves.

To be fair, Cyanide did the same thing with Blood Bowl, as I recall.

It's just their MO. Blood Bowl turned out to be very good for people who liked the board game and horrible for everyone else.

If the company witch made this game is devolping 2 other games(one begin a "A Game of Thrones" rpg) at the morment they honestly can't rush this game as that would ruin their reputation and the other 2 games that would come after this wouldn't sell well.
