Forged Alliance is a DLC, so when you can start that one up you are actually playing the original game with the extra units/buildings,

no it isn't. FA is a stand alone game.

As Abort said, you're half correct. FA is a stand-alone expansion. It also has an entirely new faction, not just extra units or structures.

I appear to be having the same issue. FA works fine, but when I try to launch SupCom, I get the windows 'working mouse pointer' for a few seconds, then nothing. If it's the first time I've tried, then I get the usual advertisement you get after closing a Steam game for the first time in a session. I really wish I had error messages to provide. And for the record, I'm using Win 7 64-bit.

Where is the exe located. I can't find it O.o. Also, the appdata folder for this is missing, but Forged Alliances is there.

With my version (from another online seller):
C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\bin
Usually, in Steam, the game folders are in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
You should have data in My Documents\My Games folder too (save, replays, etc.)
