Zombie Driver HD coming to XBLA, PSN... What About PC?

Quote:
Exor Studios has announced that there will be a new installment of the Zombie Driver title. Zombie Driver HD will feature a longer, more varied campaign, new boss fights, enemies and vehicles. The game-play has also received a few updates, touting an improved camera system, an afterburner mechanic for desperate situations, and a minimap. Zombie Driver HD will include all the DLC from the original with an additional exclusive car.

The possible disappointing news is it has not been announced to release on PC. Zombie Driver HD will be available on XBox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and Tegra 2 powered mobile devices.
Article here.

So, will there be any new content to patch into the PC version?

EDIT: Tidbit of information from their Facebook page...

[Q] will it be on steam? will owners of the regular version be upgraded for free?

[A] We don't know yet, probably yes.
So there's hope, at least.

Hell, I'd rebuy it if they released the "HD" version for PC.

Obviously our interest here isn't the resolution, but whether or not the new content will be added to the PC version as well.

It is possible that we will release it on Steam in 2012.
HD doesn't refer to resolution in this case. You can play in any resolution that is supported by your monitor and drivers on the PC.
We have made many visual and gameplay improvements.

It'd be really cool if you can bring it over at some point, even if only in a DLC form.

Anyways, good luck on your multiplatform release.

Beat Hazard Ultra was an extra $5 though

definitely the way to do it. if you re-release the game, you screw your current fans.

free update, or even a small-fee DLC for all the new stuff would be fine.

all the new stuff sounds like it'd make the game way better so im hoping it comes

Most probably it will be released as a cheap DLC or as a new game with a huge discount for every owner of the original Zombie Driver.
