Ty from an azerty user

Greetings,

I just wanted to say thank you for keeping azerty keyboard users in mind.
When I noticed that the keys where the wasd area and that you couldn't change the controls I really was thinking "Nooo... please don't let this ruin the game."
But once I get into a game and noticed I could move using zqsd that thought just changes to "That is fun as hell!"
So yea, thanks for that.

Also.. Thanks for releasing this game right on my birthday! \,,/,

The game insists on playing as an azerty keyboard, and it completely ruins the game

If you set your Steam preferred language to French, the game will use the AZERTY keyboard layout. Any other language should use QWERTY.

Why would you want to use a qwerty layout if you have an azerty keyboard. Unless I'm understanding you incorrectly.

My steam is english, my windows keyboard setting is dutch (belgium).
The game uses zqsd (the azerty layout)

That explains why the controls of The Binding of Isaac turned weird for me, I didn't know that exist that type of keyboard. (I fixed that in the options in the game, I turned on something in options).

I'm from Spain, I have Steam in ensligh and the controls I use are qwerty.

Well it works perfect for me and the other azerty person so that bit wouldn't need any looking in to.

Well, I won't put my steam in French just because of you game. And be aware that not all of your customers will come through these forums, or even seek for a solution on google.

This is dumb.

So basically :

If we have Steam in English, Orc Must Die will ALWAYS use qwerty keyboard layout.

If we have Steam in French, Orc Must Die will ALWAYS use azerty keyboard layout.

A lot of French (who understand at last English) use Steam in English (because of ♥♥♥♥ty French voice-acting or translation [Like Team Fortress 2 for example] )

Is this 'hard' to detect is the player use an AZERTY/QWERTY keyboard instead of checking Steam language ?

Completely and a hundred percents agreed, I'm french, and I put my steam, aswell as every single games on English, for this very reason.

This is quite a stupid idea, to begin with, that we can't rebind our own keys.
