Seems like the rumor was true. I'm looking forward to checking this game out, I admit I don't know much about it.

I'll have to remember to add a few bucks to my HIB purchase so the SpaceChem devs get some love.

Cool -excited that this was added! I was meaning to pick it up and now that it is a part of the FS Humble Bundle, I'm set. Now.. did I pick up the DLC from the Summercamp Seal or not? I'll have to review my Steam transactions.

This is a much better game than Frozen Synapse, so while it's great and generous and all that that SpaceChem has been added, it seems a tad awkward now that it's still the "Frozen Synapse" bundle.

I have to agree, that this game is now the highlight of the current bundle. I never regretted paying the full 15€ for it, it was worth every cent. Therefore it seems strange that it's somehow played down by the bundle's title.

Is there a difference between a non-steam version and the Steam version (besides Steam-based achivements)?

I ask because I've been given the option to download both post-purchase. Is the non-steam version as up-to-date as the steam version?

It should be.

I'm guessing the non-Steam version still checks for updates whenever it runs too.

The Steam version is the only one that will get you the TF2 items. Maybe the only one with the moustache levels.

That's all (besides achievements)?

The humble bundle version includes those levels. Just completed 10 minutes ago.

This is interesting. The Humble Bundle has a separate Steam key for SpaceChem. I already own SpaceChem from the summer sale. I am assuming I am allowed to gift the code... but it doesn't feel right... until I up my donation anyway.

From the Humble page: "Note: all keys are for your personal use only."

But if you were going to give them more money anyway, perhaps just buy whoever the whole bundle as a gift?
