Hi. I need MacBook Pro version 10.6.7 to play portal 2. I have version 10.5.8. I really have know clue, after doing a lot of googling, how to get it there, and IF its even possible! If you could guide me to a site, or give me suggestions, I'd REALLY appreciate it! Thanks guys!

I found that too, but its requirements are 10.6.6, And Im not that version. But thanks for trying to help :?

10.6.6 is here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1343
Just type the version number in their search bar. If that one needs a previous version, search for it next. You seem to be way behind in updates. |

like 10.7 Lion, you must purchase 10.6 Snow Leopard.
In the windows world this would be Windows Vista and Windows 7, not just a little Service Pack. kthxbai |

There's a lot of erroneous information here. You can not directly download an upgrade from 10.5.x to 10.6.x.
Major OS updates must be purchased. Snow Leopard is a $29 upgrade from Leopard that you should be able to obtain from Apple or any authorized reseller. You can also purchase Lion on a USB key for $69 if you want to upgrade directly to the newest version. |
