INSTALL: put the files in Dead Island/DI/out/Data ++++ CHANGES IN 0.81: -chars except SamB have max door ramming by default, If it doesn't work, opening some menus can fix it forever(Sam b might have problems with it because the patch 1.2 screwed that up) (to disable ramming, open the file for your char with text editor such as notepad and delete the 3rd line) -corrected default ramming level to 1. ++++ CHANGES: defalult_levels: -you can now run 30m/s -move faster even when walking or carrying stuff in all directions -throw stuff 200 meters -survive anything and regen completely -inventory is 99 -jump is 15 meters forward or standing still(side jumps are about 5 meters), -kill stuff with 1 hit in most cases(damage and force x20 except bullet force is x3) -all weapons have 20x the range -fists and kicks have greater damage, force, range and crit chance, plus can break or sever limbs and make headshots -fists are 3x faster and fist kills give 2x XP -penalty on death disabled in case a glitch kills you -weapon penetrate chance is 0.4 without skills -med items give 2x in case you wanted to disable regen and use tem. -default FOV changed to 72.5 because of clipping and most people don't need higher. -healthregen is faster but not so homogenously -max health is always 400 and you only get 1/1000 of damage because othervise run damage would kill you in 5 meters -only weapons and jumpkicks consume stamina, but it regens fast and is 4.0(up to 5x original) -zombies have no chance to grab you -max ammo is 9K/9K/3.5K(and future DLC sniper would be 3K) -guns have 0.1 crit chance and bonus damage is 0.5 -"This is sparta" disabled charactername_levels: all chars use data from default_levels except skillpoints, those are always 76 since v0.81: purna, logan and xian have maximum ramming to make up for sam's skills(open menu to fix it when it's not working) inventory.scr: melee_fists adjusted for more range and made them orange, items stack to 255 (its from another mod) inventory_special.scr: melee_leg adjusted for more range and better damage and force. I NEED HELP WITH: -fists animation like tony stark shooting palm cannon(that is capable of high speed shooting) -some explosion or gun type effect on impact of the fists -tweak to disable player pain sounds only -script to fly like ironman or hover above terrain to avoid running impacts -way to make hill slope indifferent for run speed -getting the attackspeed multipliers to work -disabling knockdowns and all visual reaction to attacks for player -finding out what exactly each of the 3 damage received multipliers apply to -finding out if the jumpminheight parameter is actually used -finding a way to make door breaching minigame 100% successful -your comments, give me them -possibly record a vid of it because my upload speed is palaeolithic -language, because it's my second Last edited by Dhatz: 10-08-2011 at 12:02 PM. |

..if you know what youre doing. It's by no means final, if you guys find out something could improve my mods, post it even if you think it wouldn't fit.

maybe to avoid this. data0.pak physics/walkfly/playerPH.scr in that file i have found that. Quote:

I'm new to installing mods, very new, Would it be too much hassle for a little extra info for installation and operating purposes?
How do I turn it on Where is 'out' in data (mine doesn't have it apparently) do I take everything out of the folder or just plop down the insides of the folder? |

since there are steam and nonsteam version, steam has the out folder either in documents or in the games number in steam itself, otherwise it's in install folder.

Change the line AnimPrefix("unarmed") to AnimPrefix("force") in inventory.scr for the melee_fist column -some explosion or gun type effect on impact of the fists Change the line DamageType(DamageType_Punch1) to DamageType(DamageType_Blast) or DamageType(DamageType_Impact) -finding a way to make door breaching minigame 100% successful open the file default_level.xml, look for line <prop n="BreakDoorEffectivens" v="0.2"/>. Increase the number in quote. also adding another line <prop n="LockpickLev" v="3"/> should give level 3 lockpick skills |
