I for one feel really uncomfortable around people displaying their "love" without any consideration about those around them.
Why should people hold back on their feelings just in fear of upsetting others?

Where is the line drawn, then?

People should respect others by considering that that kind of behavior may have a psychological "impact" on those around (perhaps due to a trauma related to relationships).
That's just silly. I bet there're people with traumas related to food because they saw someone choke to death on a sandwich or something, but that doesn't stop us from eating in public.

And honestly I couldn't care less if I saw a couple copulating in a garden somewhere, as long as it's not my own garden.

The only time I really care is when I'm the only other person in the room or something. I had one friend who started making out with her boyfriend in the back of my car, and I thought it was rather rude.

Otherwise it doesn't bug me in the least. I'd rather people kiss than fight.

Just go up to them, whip out your D, and start doing your business, while grunting and telling them to take it off. That should stop them.

Because a public place is for everybody, and if this upsets somebody for whatever reason, they don't really need a reason to not do that, because the fact that it upsets somebody it's a reason to not do it, in itself.

In other words: "Why can't I [insert something not generally accepted here, such as stealing or killing]? Just because it'll upset somebody? That's ridiculous!!"

True, but inside your car is hardly what I'd call a public place.

Why would it upset people?

It's a really anti-social thing to do.

See, its not really my fault: my brain as receptors for certain chemicals that produce what we call an unpleased sensation, such as being upset, and that chemicals are produced excessively when I see somebody showing pda......so blame my body chemistry...

Wait, so you're automatically upset whenever you see people show affection to each other?

Don't care. I never go outside anyway, so seeing this kind of thing is extremely rare. People can do whatever they want in public.

So you would be happy if your parents divorced, and you hate when marines come home and see their wives.

Rarely see it, but I'm fine with a normal hug or kiss.
But when it turns onto full on groping and tongue down throat affection, take it to a private area.
