Unusual effect tiers?

Alright, so I have seen people discussing this before but never found a full list of how people rank the individual effects. So I am looking to see if someone can provide some information on how popular each unusual effect is (including the new ones)

I know the old list was generally

Massed Flies --LOW
Purple Confetti
Green Confetti
Circling TF2 Logo
Circling Peace Sign
Vivid Plasma
Searing Plasma
Circling Heart
Haunted Ghosts
Green Energy
Purple Energy
Scorching Flames
Burning Flames
Sunbeams --High

But as far as the new effects go I have no clue what people generally value them at.

So what I am asking is for 2 things.

1) Put what you believe the "market ranking" to be within the list. (Don't put "herpderp its all subjective"... we all know there is a slight tf2 pixel economy so lets stick to the bounds of that)

2) Put its value in terms of buds. Now that would be hard to do as different hats seem to work with different effects. So for sake of argument... put all the effects with the Shako (a pretty boring hat that would be hard to get a themed effect with)

Any knowledge will be helpful and I will try to add an updated list if there ever is a general consensus (being hopeful here).

Help is appreciated. Post away.

from the new effects, the bubbling and nuts and bolts are lower IMO and hard to sell. all the others are pretty much high up there with the energies.

Honestly I am surprised bubbles is low, I would also expect steam/smoke to be lower on the list but thanks for at least some input.

Also, I expected this thread to turn into another "how stupid unusuals are" thread. Thanks for at least somewhat steering it away from that.

Burning is the highest tier now pretty much universally on all hats, with a few exceptions.

the thing abou bubbles is , it is a decent effect. but people want all flashy effects which people from across the maps can see. bubbles is pretty hard to see and is only noticible from up close, maybe thats why. i kinda like it though.

Massed Flies 2 buds
Purple Confetti 2 buds
Green Confetti 2 buds
Circling TF2 Logo 2.5 buds
Circling Peace Sign 2.5 buds
Vivid Plasma 4.5 buds
Searing Plasma 3 buds
Circling Heart 6 buds
Haunted Ghosts 7.5 buds
Green Energy 8 buds
Purple Energy 9 buds
Scorching Flames 12 buds
Sunbeams -- 15 buds
Burning Flames 24 buds

these are approximate guesses give or take a little bit, on a Soldier Stash as you asked.

Oh wow, burning really did overtake sunbeams by quite a lot. I knew they were close for a while, surprised they are that far apart. Even if it is just a guess it still shows that I was pretty far off.

a burning soldier stash is one of the more expensive soldier hats in the game. The disparity on buds for differing tiers in soldier hats is quite less variable for things like Shako, Dapper, and others.

Surprised that flies has moved up as high as it has... especially considering even on the death freeze-frame thing I can still barely tell that they have an unusual hat. But glad to see that there is a partial consensus on unusual rankings. Now just need a value for each.

Also, based on

I will change the first post to be a Shako rather than a soldier stash.. although I will never understand why people focus around certain hats and give them all that value. I guess I signed up for weird things like that when I made this thread

tf logo and peace are the worst effects xD

scientifically prooven

Flies is by far the worst effect, on some hats its even worth more than sunbeams.

Persay a

Flies Snaggletooth is about the same value as a sunbeams snaggletooth

A flies milkman is 15 buds

Flies Team Captain is 17 Buds, and a tf logo team captain is 12? xD

That sounds a bit more right to me. Flies does allow for quite a few themed ones though (handyman's handle, brown Triboniophorus Tyrannus, etc.)

Guess I will need some more input before saying anything definitive then.
