When did Steam start putting Free trials under the F2P section? I know some of the stuff the F2P (MMO) Industry is capable of but I didn't think Valve would start collaborating with them.

I didn't notice anything that said I had to pay to progress yet.

It says it's free to try / pay to play on the store page. And on their website, it says you have to Pay to play.

It's in the Free to Play section. It shouldn't be. To play the game for free indefinitely is at the core of what "Free to Play" means.

Exactly. Most F2P games let you play and access most of the game for free but an optional cash shop lets you buy visual, convenience and sometimes power items.

I would say all F2P games let you play and access the game. Saying MOST gives Memoir '44 Online justification.

Guild wars is not free to play,you have to buy the game then it is free to play...you got your wires crossed there.

Yep its deceptive as all heck, and it should be corrected by Steam asap, otherwise there is no point in having a free to play category, might as well just have put all the FTPs in the demo section, since that is basically what the FTP section has become now.

I thought it was FTP as well...and funny thing is I would have bought it and even had interest in the board game...but not now.

Also...is anyone else earning achievements and having them not show up here on Steam?

The game with 2 free scenarios would now (IMO) qualify as labeled f2p. 2 scenarios free to play unlimited.. pay for other scenarios.
