How do you organize your Steam game library?

So how do you organize your Steam game library?

What categories did you make and what games are in them?

I'm just curious .

I usually just have the filter set to view my installed games.

I don't use custom categories.

I've set all 291 games in categories twice now, both times Steam kindly removed them.

Installed view.

Grid View, list installed (78 games)

If I want to quick find any game I use the search box

I have created 1 additional category.

One called 'DOESN'T F*CKING WORK' that contains:

Assassins Creed I (Crashes at a certain point.)
All Points Bulletin (Real-Time worlds closed down.)
Dirt 3 (Doesn't launch at all.)

One category for each game that has one or more sequels (HL, HL2, Portal, CS, Fear, Doom, Quake, bla...)...

Retrospectively that probably wasn't the smartest idea, but due to the client's lack of usability I really cba to re-categorize them..

I don't organize them. Should do because it's nearing 300 games.

I use the default category "games" for the games I'm currently playing.

I added the following custom categories:
- Backlog
- Finished
- Not playing anymore

Which should be self explanatory.

I recently added an extra category "Multiplayer" for on-line multiplayer games I still play once in a while but I'm not sure if I keep this category.

i organize by having one category "Steam fail" in wich i've put items thats 100% fail by valve, including CSS Beta (never wanted this in the first place) TF2 beta (same here) Civilization IV, Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword
Civilization IV: Warlords
(due to the steam fail of not fixing the bug with steamplay that was reported well over 12 months ago)

I don't. Usually Steam deletes my categories after a while and it takes ages to sort my games again. Also, there is no possibility to put games in two or more categories.

For example:
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution > Dawn of War Series/RTS/Multiplayer/Coop

its not possible to really organize the library.
if it was i'd have 1 item called "Modern Warfare 2" and not one called Multiplayer and one Singleplayer (you cant keep track of your friends playtime in Multiplayer, wich btw is what people mostly play in mw2. not many play sp) also you cannot organize since steam library is failing when they are arranging the titles, for example;

ArcaniA: Gothic 4
Gothic
Gothic 3
Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition
Gothic II: Gold Edition

when it should be;

Gothic
Gothic II
Gothic III
Gothic III- Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition
Gothic IV: Arcania

etc. These issues, valve don't care for a minute, in fact ,they encourage this to jarate of ocd'ers. However, i dont care about that, i call it ing up the entire library and making it less nice to browse
