No sync..No connection to steam!!!

Hi all, i just kicked up Di and tryed to continue from when i last logged out last night and a box appears telling me the game did not sync with steam cloud and im not connected to steam, if i want to continue turn off online mode basicly. So i have exited steam totaly and started it back up just to make sure and i am connected to steam and can only go into Di in single player mode.
Any one know how to fix the offline part as i normaly team with my brother.

Any help would be great

I love this game, its such a laugh using skype/vent or mumble to chat while teamed.

Sam B - lvl 50. Had 3 other Sam B's to 33/38 and 40 all from lvl 1 and all locked.
Logan - lvl 50.
Purna - lvl 43.
Xian - lvl 27.

Sam B with magic wand is my favorite char.

got 2 achivment during downtime...when it was back online, i got one...the other is broken..ingame i show me i have killed the rammer with the tackling but i dont get it...did it again and still dont get the achivment

I feel your pain. it's too bad why all achievements depends on internet connection. I think that game needs some cache to save data like achievements and all other stuff during no connection. when you are back on internet, all saved files connect, upload automatically. I don't think that it is difficult to do. shame. I had the similar situation. somehow I had to play it offline. I achieved four. but it didn't apply after internet connection. I had to play all over again. it's still bugging me.

playing again dont help me, cause the game says i have it when i look at "extra/trophys"

Is steam online service still down ?

the OP was from early morning 10/14 ..so your issue must be either a new set of steam downtimes or something on your end ? also the OP was online play, so if you were ingame it was set as offline mode and achievments would not register after it came back up . so if you can't get into game at all , then its a whole nudder issue !
