Can't get 5 skulls on Lunch Break?

So yeah I've had some rough time passing the "Lunch Break" map with 5 skulls, because it seems impossible...
I AM on War Mage dificulty, and I don't let ANY enemies into the rift and my high score is 88,140 but I always get only 4 skulls.
I thought the objetive was only to keep them from the rift, but it doesn't seem like it anymore...
Can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to get 5 skulls?

Rift points control 4 of the skulls. The final skull is time based. You're simply taking too long.

Yeah the 5th skull seems to be linked to time (but game currently shows no timer).

At the end, look at the Stats on the menu and it will show your time and the time required for that map.

I am having this problem in The Squeeze map. played it ~25x so far and I'm ~50 min over, and requires 18 min, tried about four tactics and still takes me to long,

I found the Squeeze to one of if not the easiest map. Also the coolest somehow. :P

@ TcoNL - what do you find works well at killing them as fast as possible?

I recently completed this on 5 skulls, war mage so will check what the level looks like and re-post what I used to get it.

Coincidentally I took 2 screens of that map last time I played.

Played on warmage. Yet to get to on NM. Starting 3rd act... I think.
Was using unupgraded grinders. And went with upgraded archers.

Prob had a paladin or such under that bridge aswell if something or an ogre got passed. Not sure though.

Bottom screens shows grinders on the far side of the wall and left.
They enter on the top right side on tar to the topleft and then follow the somewhat visible path down.

- grinders

X barricade
, = nothing or simply wall

If not clear just ask.

They never got past the first corner. And I even had 5-7 to spare last round(s).

My own method:

Remember the chandeliers, they can also be used on this level.

A combination of wall spikes/tar traps and the wind belt are all you need for the first few waves.

My map layout (I didn't have enough cash at the start but hopefully you'll get the idea):

Wall spikes and tar traps here, use the wind belt too once both doors are open.

Wall spikes on all 3 walls here, once you start using the wind belt the spikes should reset, move to deal with the lower level and the top should be almost clear.

Paladin here, he's backup incase things get hectic.

Wall spikes and tar traps here, you only need 3 tar traps at the top of the stairs, use the wind belt to give you more time if the orcs approach too quick.

Archer here, backup incase you need to retreat from the stairway. Also place one the other side of the paladin.

The archers and paladin are backup for when the ogres appear.

it does!
after you played the map he calculates your score and you could clearly see that 1 skull is seperated from the others.
its one row down. in the line with the time.
and there stands the par-time.

kill them as close as possible to the gate. traps right outside of it.
This cuts down a lot of time of them walking to a chokepoint.

In nightmare 1 death is generally 2 skulls....in the early levels anyways :\

thanks all for your feedback and screens, it helped on the Squeeze. finally got 5 skulls - woohoo! used a mix of things to get, but I had to blast them a lot more with lightning to get my time down in normal mode, and use the rolling logs better.

yea, if i die or fall in a pit i just auto-rage-reset hehe,

Lunch break is tighter than some on time. The clock is ticking from the second you "press any key" to start the mission. It would be nice if there was a way to see the clock while you were playing, but alas no.

Plan ahead so you can place your traps quickly and start the wave as quickly as practical. Avoid using wind belt and spring traps as much as possible since it can take quite a while for orks to stand back up again so you can easily run the clock out this way.

If you're still having difficulty getting 5 skull on this one you can come back later when you have a larger selection of traps. It does make things a lot easier when you have stronger traps available to you. I know it can be done with the traps available to you when you reach the map. I did it with 7 seconds to spare myself.

You don't lose rift points on death in war mage difficulty. Only in nightmare.
