Oct 20 New patch - game won't start *TEMP FIX*

CTD after the mini-splash.. basically it won't start now. Just loaded the 20MB patch.

[update] The same seems to apply to other languages as well. Replace the capitalised locale with lower case. For example, "De" -> "de"; "Es" -> "es".

Lots of people are getting a 1.3GB patch so maybe try restarting steam.

Same here. Apparently got a new patch and the game crashes to desktop on execution.

also notice unless they rolled us back to 1.0.0.0 we are at 1.2.1 and they don't even bother changing their game's release info.

i gave this game another try 2 days ago and once again its BS like this that made me stop... err sorry i mean unable to play what i paid for.

mine wont start also after the patch, game worked fine before.

thanks! that did the trick! i guess that was what the 78 byte patch was trying to unsuccessfully fix
