Dungeon Defenders OPEN: Port Forwarding?

Seems like you need to open ports in order to host OPEN games.
Can't seem to find the ports anywhere.
which ports required to be open in order to host a OPEN game succesfully?

If you just enable uPnP on your router your probably don't need to do anything on most modern routers.

With a firewall program it just asks for permission. Click and done.

Since its through steam I would say the same ports as most other steam games.

tcp
27014-27050

udp
4380, 27000-27030

I could be wrong so try it and see.

Oddly this is probably the first post I've seen concerning port forwarding... Aside from TrendyNet being as fussy as a 1 year old with several allergies, I've not heard of any issue with people hosting games or joining them.

I'll see if I can find any info on the official forums though

That is just for the Steam client. As the game uses the unreal 3 engine it would require port forwarding for those ports.

Although UPnP appears to be enabled in this game so port forwarding is not needed.

Games such as borderlands and sanctum use unreal 3 and had big issues as they never coded in UPnP. Although both games have since both had fixes.
