[BUG] Multi-monitor with full screen; game minimizing all the time

When turning consistently in the direction of my second monitor (to the right in my case) and madly clicking (to attack) the mouse pointer can pop outside the frame of the game and since I'm mashing click, this causes the game to lose focus and minimize.

The code needs to change to reset the pointer position to the middle of the screen much more frequently (every frame?). I minimize my game during hectic combat at least once per wave if I don't specifically focus on turning left instead of right (since my mouse can't move past the left edge of the monitor).

hmm... I wonder why. Maybe it's in combination with my mouse that's running at about 5000 dpi?

I'm running 1920×1080 on my main monitor, full screen. My right monitor is 1280×1024, using Catalyst Control Center to line the monitor up along the bottom edge.

I'm running a Saphire 1GB Radeon HD 4850.

The only time it's an issue is when I'm turning quickly to the right while clicking rapidly. I see the Windows cursor flicker on the second screen when I turn quickly, so I assume that what's happening is I'm clicking on my second monitor, making Dungeon Defenders lose focus.

This doesn't happen to me. I would fully expect it to happen if you were in FULL SCREEN WINDOWED mode though.

It still shouldn't happen. I play TF2 full screen windowed mode all the time. Most games reset the cursor to the middle of the screen every frame or so to make sure the mouse never leaves the window. Dungeon Defenders should do the same, but evidently it does not or else I wouldn't have the game minimizing every 10 minutes.

I can't speak for fullscreen, but I have two monitors and play with DD in windowed mode, and the cursor does lock to the game while in combat, though in menus it isn't locked, which makes sense. Try running it in a window instead?

Thanks for the tip. I'm just hoping the devs see this so they can look into it and hopefully patch it.

I don't suppose if anyone knows if there's a better way to contact the devs than posting here?

I would try their official forums. The Devs posted on their regularly before the game was released. http://forums.trendyent.com/

Also, this issue does not happen for me either. 1680x1050 for both monitors (2x GTX 275 in SLI). Mouse is locked to my main monitor.

Doesn't happen to me (unless I have steam browser up, and that's steam's problem), using 1680x1050 on main, 1024x768 on secondary. Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX (768mb), standard independant Dual Screen setup.

The mouse cursor goes to the edge of the screen and stops there.

Hate to bring up an old thread but I'm having the same exact problems as OP. Has there been a fix for this yet? I also have a dual monitor setup, using a 6870+6850 in crossfire, and play only on one screen in fullscreen mode. My game seems to randomly minimize which is very annoying when I'm trying to play the game. Wondering what's the solution to this?

I use Ultramon to lock the cursor to the game window, something the game should already be doing.

No, however if you just want to the ablity to lock the cursor to single window (and a LOT of games have this oversight) then use MultiMonitor Cursor Lock which is freeware. Ultramon does a lot more that you probably dont need.

A lot of older games need this and a surprising amount of modern games seem to ignore the possibility of multiple monitors
