Exclamation ALIENWARE USERS LOOK HERE!

Hi

To the lucky players that have an Alienware machine:

As PAYDAY is using AlienFX to run special warnings lights at assult waves and also give you a set of special Alienware masks in game if you choose. You need it installed at the moment.

If you have a Alienware and experience that the game does not start then please install the AlienFX and reboot your computer.

IF this does not work (some Alienware computers act like that for some reason we have not found) Then uninstall the Command Centre and run the game. That should work as well but wont give you the maskes etc.

Enjoy!

Bo

Is there anyway to actually turn off the masks? Whenever I am done playing a round, my option gets reset back to custom masks on, and then I have to go and change it back again.

What do you mean by install the AlienwareFX? I do have my AlienFX on (if that is the keyboard lighting and such). Is there a speical Payday the Heist FX that I need to install?

EDIT: I have a folder called AlienFX, and I also have the Alienware Command Center. Is it just not recognizing it or what?

Go into the options menu. There you can uncheck the Alienware mask use if you want to.

Corrected the topic. I'm about to look at your crash again.

No, my problem is that even if I do un-check it, after playing a round I get the masks again, even if the option remains unchecked.

You have a PhysX issue.

I'm posting a sticky solution soon.
