Final boss overpowered?

With the final boss comes a new spell mechanic that you never acquire - the ability to spend 20 points to gain 70. In what way is this balanced?

Well she killed me a couple of times but then I got her with a few lucky hard-hitting attacks. Maybe you need some different cards?

First play through I took her out on first go. Second time it took a quite a few turns. I found if I was lucky and concentrated on building 40/50 hits while scraping together 18/20 I could kill her. I also took fire shield and thehealth restor cards and got them up when ever I could.

Frankly, i had more troubles with her minions. On final boss just remember to get fire shields with you.
