Done some of the single player and about 5 hrs of multiplayer as well starting around noon today. While some maps seem kind of painful, I think it might just be a matter of getting to know them (keep in mind I've been mostly playing rush though). I was even getting the hang of flying the helicopters, though landing them to repair them gave me problems. I am really enjoying the variety in the maps though. Rush on Caspian is pretty cool as you still have a lot of wide open room to work with which is a nice change from your typical rush map. I still haven't played the night map or bazaar which were two of the ones I was looking forward to as well.

I am really impressed with how well the game is performing on my gtx 570. With everything on ultra except for shadows which are set to high, and no motion blur because it annoys me I'm getting nearly the same fps I did in the beta. Still sub 60 most of the time but surprisingly playable. There are a lot of small details which I have enjoyed as well. Like when you are starting the jet mission in SP when you put your helmet on all the sounds become muffled. The rat that bit my finger in single player. The sound in general is pretty amazing throughout. What they have been able to do with lighting with the new engine is pretty amazing too.

Tomorrows another day though
Ditto Bootsand, I feel the same way. It's a good game, but I was pretty bored playing it and kept thinking about BC2 the whole time. I'll be heading back to BC2, just hope there's players there to play with now!!

that being said I have seen some lag spike issues and on occasion I cant fire my weapon. only way to fix it is to restart, but thats been 3 times in 5 hours. aaand thats it. ultra running at 60 with vysnc, running at a cool 47c on my OC cpu and 70 on my gtx580 with fan at 65%. no complaints from me, cant remember the last time a large game launch went this well. bf2's launch sure didnt.

Damavand Peak is farking awful. That map COULD be pretty great... but it's a giant effing meat grinder. Zzzzzzzzzzzz. Absolutely hate it. Get rid of the tunnel or let us go AROUND or ON TOP OF IT. That would be EPIC. Instead.... giant choke point. No thanks.

Need huge map with at least 3 tanks per team. Maps are interesting atm, but small compared to bf2. Just saying... I'm very pleased with this product regardless.

Was BC2 fluid at launch? Nope.

Give it a few weeks or so, they will most likely fix everything up by then, if not most.

Jeez, how many patches did it actually take to fix everything that was broken with BC2 anyways?

Been having a blast. The only maps I hate are Metro and Canal. Canal only becasue the damn skybox on the Jets is like 300 feet before you stall compared too 800-1000 on every other map. It's really annoying the flight zone just feels way to cramped.

Kharg is easily the best map in the game. Even on Rush with the A-10s it's ballin.

If I had to rate them it would be:

Conquest:
Kharg
Firestorm
Caspian
Crossing
Devmond
Bazaar
Highway
Canal
Metro

Rush:
Devmond
Kharg
Caspian
Bazaar
Highway
Firestorm
Canal
Metro

I haven't played Crossing on Rush yet but I don't think I will like it from what I have seen in videos.

Metro is still the worst map and whoever thought it was a good idea to make a Battlefield maps without vehicles in any mode should be docked pay or something. Even Arica on Conquest in BC2 had an ATV to mess with.

Played for 5 hours straight until a bit ago...I don't remember the last time I ever did that. This game is great, some minor bugs aside.
