Question about Blizzard

Hi, so i know this is not steam releated, but i dont know anyone that has a blizzard title to ask.

Im interested in buying D2 and LOD expansion, im in Argentina and went to different game shops, and no one has it, so i have to buy it digital from blizzard.

My question is, do they do sales trought out the year? like steam does? because 40U$D for a 10 year old game, (as great as it may be its a bit too much)

And do you have to use a steam-like system to play the game? like a launcher you download and play the game from there?

No, I believe since its so old you just download and install it. Blizzard does not do sales to my knowledge, only one I even remember is the sold WOW expansions cheaper before Cataclysm came out.

Blizzard does not have any kind sales, ever, as far as I'm aware. The closest thing to that is their "Recruit a friend" to WoW campaign.

It does not use a steam-like system to play, at least with the CD version, I imagine the digital version isn't much different.

Blizzard guys don't like seals. They probably club them in their free time.

No sales, kind of sucks... and i assume there is no other way of getting digital copys of their games other than blizzard its self.

One more question, is there some sort of download limit? or restrictions if i change my computer?
