dr2 wont start need windows live market

just formatted my hard drive downloaded dr2 again but would shut off during first time set up without an error. then i remembered you needed to dowlnload something from microsoft here... www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/download/ You have to set up a free acount for windows live if you do not have one, might also work for dr2 otr?
