So which part did you give up on?
Keep spoilers limited for those of us who decide to try some more.
And for the complete wimps like me, which part convinced you to shut down your PC and buy a box of kittens to keep you company during the night? For me it was just after the elevator part - as if a labyrinth of hallways and low lantern oil wasn't enough, I had one encounter with an enemy that sent me hurling into a nearby room, crouched in the corner behind a bed. Saved, haven't booted it back up in quite a while. |

I quit after trying all the endings, then booted it up for dlc at a later date!
![]() Beating this game alone in a dark room at night will make you a much braver person, lol, things I found scary before this have no effect now. |

I gave up in the demo. I'm in that cave, but I just rounding around... in circles. No way out, no stuff, no hint, no nothing. And the game doesn't even scary.

I was in the Torture chambers when I stopped for a few minutes and the wife walked in and and was like "WTF!!!"
She will not even try to play the game since seeing that. |

I have purchased this game just for the heck of it. I know for sure I wont have the guts to play it trough... the trailer alone freaked me out. I'll try finishing Dead Space and then give this one a try.

I saw a monster, he was all GRUH
Gruh is a pretty cool guy. Eh patrols the castle and doesn't afraid of anything. Gruh has a face that hurts, usually my face is barrels so I don't have to look at him. |

finished the game and bought 3 penumbra games right after. Quality indie games deserve my support.
Finished the overture and black plague, requiem is next. Taking a break so I dont lose my mind and gaming some STALKER CS in the meantime. |
