Question Melee weapon of choice in a zombie outbreak?

What's everyone's melee weapon of choice in a zombie outbreak? A genuine samurai sword would be pretty cool, but I think a titanium crowbar would be more useful (you can use it to break into cars & buildings on top of using it as a weapon) and you don't have to worry about it going dull for it to stop working (since it's basically a blunt force weapon, although it can be used as a penetrating weapon if held correctly, but I'd be worried about it sticking). The titanium would just be so that it doesn't weigh like a ton of bricks.

What say you?

If it's melee, either a sword or an axe. However, I'd PREFER a nice, long-range shotgun.

None of these!
Maybe a blunt weapon to avoid blood splatter. Aluminium baseball bat maybe, I have a few of those in easy reach. Or a crowbar, that works well enough for multiple things.

It depends.. If it's only for killing zombies, maybe a chainsaw. But if you have to think of all the other things you need, like fuel and such, maybe a crowbar would be better just because you can use it to force things open. So it's a really hard choice But I would probaly take a Tomahawk with a back hammer end.

I'd definitely go with a couple of aluminum baseball bats. Maybe even a couple of large hammers.

Machete, like one of the multi-tool kinds.

Time to bring an Entrenching tool, a Crowbar, and a Machete!

if you dont get the entrenching tool part, Entrenching shovels are often sharpened to cut through the ground easier, so you can use them to fight zombies too,

Don't you think that would be heavy carrying all of those? You're looking at almost 10 lbs in tools.

You don't plan to live very long in this zombie scenario, do you?
