Can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing

I get that error when I try starting straight from the executable "SanctumGame-Win32-Shipping.exe". I also tried verifying the cache and it installed some run times, but it didn't fix anything. I also rebooted my computer. Any solutions?

This sounds like we have setup the install script incorrectly, could you goto "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sanctum\Install" and run the x86 redist ( I don't have the files on my computer so I can't really give you the exact filename at the moment )

I just fixed it myself but I'll the solution here in case if anyone is getting this problem.

Go into \Steam\steamapps\common\sanctum\Install and install both x86 and x64 version of vcredist in that folder. Personally I am on a 64 bit version of Windows 7 but I installed both just in case. Game starts up just fine by running the executable (avoid running via Steam for now).

You should just need to install the x86-redist as it's a 32-bit game.

I have updated the install-script, so everyone that will download it shouldn't have the same problem anymore.

MSVCP100 Dll Error Fix

Hello,

1. Reinstall the Associated Program
2. Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)
3. Repair Corrupted Registry Hives
4. Scan and Repair the System Files
5. Restore the System to an Earlier Date

The one most recommended thing is to use a Registry Cleaner program to fix MSVCP100.dll error.
If you have already been experiencing the MSVCP100 Dll Error then read this article MSVCP100 Dll Error Fix

Hope it solves your problem.
