You'll be waiting a while then because the dual cores that are coming out are not going to be good for gaming. I read an article at Gamespot or something where the AMD representative himself said that very thing. The clock speeds are going to be slower than clock speeds right now of single core AMD's. The dual cores won't be for gaming until A WHILE after those first generation dual cores have been out.

Don't hold your breath about dual core's just yet.

never bothed with benches, so i dont know this stuff:

10448 in 3dmark03, is that good?

-Asus A8N SLI-Deluxe
-AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2070 MHz
-e-GeForce 6800 GT @ 400 mHz core & 1.05 GHz memory (ill push it farther some other time)
-2x 512mb Crucial Ballistix PC3200
-Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Gamer Edition paired with Logitech x-530 5.1's.*
-80GB SATA Maxtor HDD

*( i didnt hear sound for almost all of the tests, except the ones that said specifically that they tested sound, is that normal?)

audigy2 zs regular, i heard sound for like the last 2 tests i belive, so idk. also using 66.93 drivers just ran a 3dmark03 a little while ago

true, 3dmark isnt accurate run the test 2 times in a row score will be a lot lower the second time. if it plays hl2/source and bf2 when it comes out screw 3dmark lol

i checked the specs of my comp through 3dmark, it says:

Internal Clock Maximum 2.1GHz.

what the hell? can i not get past that?

means its your max current clock so what you have now, you always can oc more no doubt.

well maybe it is maybe it is dont really know try to oc from 2.07 to 2.12 or fsb @ 212/multipiler at 10.
