Which gpu is better?

Radeon HD 4870 or the Radeon HD 6670??

The 4870 is more powerful. Unlike the 4870 though the 6670 supports DX11, so looking forward (i.e. BF3) it's a tough call.

Its not a tough call at all. While the 6670 "supports" DX11, it hardly has the power to run the new features. HD 4870 all the way.

What makes it more powerful, the core clock on the 6670 is higher, and the memory clock is not far off??.. so whats the deciding factor?

Fillrate is better from what I can see also the shader processors and the texture units is noticeably better on the HD4870. But the lack of DX11 makes the judgement harder.

the 6670 has 128bit memory bandwidth and fewer shader processors, texture units ... fewer everything - its a much weaker card irrespective of clocks speeds.
