Saints Row: The Third on sale for $34

Saints Row: The Third is on sale at Green Manga Ming for $40. They have a 15% off code that will reduce the cost to $34.

This is a Steamworks game so the key you get can be used on Steam.

The promo code can also be used with L.A. Noire, Batman: AC, and LOTR: War in the North on top of the already discounted prices.

Best part is that they aren't regionally priced, so Saints Row 3 is $55 cheaper on GMG for us Aussies.

Steam makes money from every Steamworks game, whether it's bought on Steam or not.

Nice, but after Saints Row 2 . . . can they be trusted.

I think I'll pass for now. Better to pick up a great game later for more money than gamble, especially when their last pc game was such a horrible port.

I'll just suffer with Skyrim until I hear the verdict from you guys. I do hope it turns out good.

They're handling the PC version in-house, this time. Same as with Red Faction: Armageddon, and while that was arguably an inferior game to Guerrilla, it did in fact have a very good PC version.

I have high hopes it's different this time, but they will have to show me first.

Yeah, Armageddon runs very good. Actually, Guerrilla was awesome - just have to alt-tab and set priority to low and smooths right out (weird but true). SR2 . . . it gives me shivers it was so bad. Sorry, I'm feeling a bit nauseous just thinking about it.

Whether this ia true or not fact of the matter is instead of a 30% cut, Valve is getting something closer to 0.

Valve can go and eat one for all i care.

Ah, but that's the beauty of Steamworks - even if you don't buy the game on Steam, you still end up using their store/library system one way or another. They lose a short-term sale, but get your support in the long run.
