Can you join the Silver Hand?

If so....how?

I don't like the companions and thanks to all the spoilers I know whats going to happen and really do not want to start their quest if It keeps me from joining the guys that hunt them down.

Thanks for any help ( already searched but didn't come up with anything if there is already a thread on this please link )

And what is it that they do?

Give you the option to become a werewolf?

You know these guys at least ask you if you want to become one and when you say no they say, it's cool come back if you ever want to.

The silver hands just kill whatever they believe to be a werewolf. Regardless whether that werewolf is the noblest guy on the planet or not.

Probably not. I think they're the token adversary faction for the Companions whose only real function is to give your sword arm a workout.

bah' was hoping for some fun werewolf hunting quests.

Don't fancy myself a furry so can you still get side quests from the companions even if you don't take their 'gift'?

I heard there's a furry cure quest down the road for the Companions so the transformation is just part of the quest line rather the a permanent situation.

I was talking to my friend about this, every faction should be joinable in some shape or form. Hell, i'd love to join up with a bandit group and just hang out in a stronghold all day.

Lulz, worried about being a furry. You don't ever have to use beast form, and it's supposed to give you immunity to all other diseases. (Not sure about this, I got brain rot from a claw trap, might be a bug.)

Also, beast form is faster than a horse when sprinting, and your carry limit is boosted by 1900.
