PLEASE add "Self Destruct" Co-Op Key Bind

It isn't a cheat in other Source Games.

And I don't even see HOW it could possibly be considered a cheat.

I am playing Portal 2 Co-Op, in the last Non-DLC Chamber, and I wne to the door too early, and now me and my partner can't go anywhere. And I can't type in "Kill" in the console unless I turn on Cheats, but that would make beating this level not count and we would have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

God damn it Valve, why the hell do you always screw everything up?

Just make it NOT a cheat and set the default key to K and make it a Co-Op only Key-Bind

Im pretty sure you can use "Kill" to destroy certain entities in maps, such as doors, which is why it's a cheat.

If they do update it, then they could name the Key-Bind (in the options) Self-Destruct as a Co-Op only Key-Bind

The default key for it will be K

No, that would be "ent_remove" or "ent_fire <target> kill".

Using only "kill" doesn't affect any entities. Except the player, of course.

It could be used to say get somewhere, press a button then instead of getting back merely killing yourself.

Forcing an arbitrary respawn has potential mapping implications.

It used to be an available console command, both Kill and Explode... the DLC update removed it for some reason :|

Post DLC update, I managed to get stuck in the floor while messing around with a button that rotates a wall, normally I would have just suicided but OH WAIT IT'S A CHEAT NOW START THE LEVEL OVER TROLOLOL

Thi will not be added because there are places where you must get back to an area using portals, but can be skipped by suiciding.

I have not seen one map where you have to backtrack to the beginning during either Single Player, Co-Op, the Co-Op DLC, or the couple custom maps I have played...
