Companions Not Following.

Not sure if its suppposed to be scripted like this, but Lydia isn't entering certain dungeons with me; Aftland, Nightcrawler Temple. I don't know how many others, because this just began today. This is becomming unbearably difficult due to me playing a full mage on master, but I'm curious to know if this is supposed to occur? I figured Nightcrawler Temple because it was part of a quest I accepted, but Aftland was a discovery on my own, And Lydia also wouldn't follow me into the lighthouse between the temple and Aftland. In Dawnstar village however, she entered whichever structures I went into.

Is this supposed to happen?
