Year 3 Hogsmeade level - The potion cauldron (with Polyjuice Potion) has a lid on it?

(NOTE THIS IS ON XBOX 360 NOT PC, I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO POST)

On the Hogsmeade Level, there is a flight of stairs, where if you go down them you go into a different area of the castle. There is a Polyjuice Potion cauldron on the floor, but it has a lid on it. The potion ingredients are there, but the cauldron lid is on the jar, and I cannot proceed. Do I need to go back to Year 2 and learn it again, or is there another solution to fixing this?
