I just wanted to know when the winter sales 2010 are going to begin. And when did the sales 2010 began?

Not very helpful at all, if you're not going to help why waste your time posting here do something more constructive.

To answer the OP's question I believe it started on Dec 20 2010 up to Jan 2 2011.

Interestingly enough, this thread is the second hit when searching for "steam winter sale 2011 dates" while the first hit is the steam store main page. So not only was this smartass answer a waste of your time and completely worthless to the OP, it's worthless for everyone else who is already using Google to search for it.

For anyone else who finds their way into this perfect example of why these type of replies are moronic, the 2010 sale was Dec. 20 through Jan. 2.

Pretty sure he was saying to google the old sale dates, not the one for the sale that hasn't started yet.

Sales will start on the 19th. DETOUR dev posted on twitter that DETOUR would be on sale from 19th Dec - 2nd Jan.

When Ep3 releases and not a day sooner.

It was the December 20th(a Monday) through January 3rd last year. So fifteen days. The Thanksgiving sale however wasn't as long this year as last, so don't know if the Christmass one will be shorter this year or not. Instead of Monday the 19th they may start it on Wednesday the 21st.
