[MOD] Increased FOV
Default FOV:
http://i.imgur.com/sFoAI.jpg New FOV: http://i.imgur.com/0TtQb.jpg Download the mod here - http://www.gamefront.com/files/21008...rd+fov+mod.zip Just unzip the .xtbl file into the same directory as saintsrowthethird.exe. I've only done minimal testing on this, so things might be broken. In order to make this mod, I just used Gibbed mod tools to unpack the camera config file and increased all the default_fov values by about 50%. |

The download didn't work at first, The URL would break when it tried to load the file to download, but then I tried loading the website in firefox rather than chrome and it worked fine.
As for the mod itself, thank you SO MUCH. I spent the better half of yesterday afternoon looking for a mod like this because the default cramped FOV gives me motion sickness after just a few minutes and renders the game unplayable for me. I couldn't find anything though. This mod however fixes everything, I just gave it a quick test and as soon as I loaded the game I could feel my eyes relaxing in relief. Now I can play without keeping a bucket next to my desk. |

Thanks a lot, Max!
The FOV for the character didn't bother me too much but the distance of the camera to the vehicles was very annoying. Much better now! |

I hated the default driving fov. Now it's just right.
However, how can I switch the on-foot fov closer to default? Instead of 50%, what values do I change to get it to just increase by 25%? |

Under the exterior close section there are entries for crouch, sprint, interior close, interior sprint, and interior crouch. All these values are set to 75 in my file. If you edit one of them, you'll probably want to edit the rest to keep things consistent. |

Works fine, used throughout majority of the game with no issues
Much easier on the eyes, thanks Any confirmation if the FOV stays the same if you join OR host a co-op game? Just curious if the effect will turn off on one of those Repped also, did this same thing for DR2, I do not know why developers don't allow this in options.. |

used this for a while but it is too much in my opinion, everything is too far away. 25% would be good I reckon, maybe a tad more

Try a different web browser? Sounds like an error only you're getting... Maybe the OP will upload to a different mirror |
