Awesome job, game defaulted to ultra, runs really smooth and looks great. Has that classic PC FPS feel that most developers can not manage nowadays.

Buy it.
NOW.
This is what DNF should've been like. You get wide, open spaces, tons of enemies rushing at you, lots of weapons (including your DAMN BEAR... BARE HANDS, an electric-lightsaber-whip thing and a boot) and cheesy one-liners. Basic strategy involves abuse of S, A, D and M1. Also sprinting and iron sights on two weapons BAWWW SS3 IS A COD CLONE!!!1

...
Now, seriously. Where Gearbox failed, Croteam emerged victorious - they created an absolutely awesome, exciting, intense (and pretty difficult) mixture of classic and modern FPS. Tip: standing still not recommended, unless you like to load often.

Money well spent. Thank you for saving the reputation of all manly FPS games (Yes, Duke, I'm talking about you, stop hiding behind that pillar. And you dare to call yourself a man? Sheesh).

Just to clarify things about DNF. Greabox is not responsible for this streaming pile of , but 3DRealms is and most specifically the self entitled project leaders. Gearbox somehow managed to get the pieces together and called it a day.

Game is great fun so far (i'm at level 4). I only hope there will be more large arenas in the next levels (they are the real essence of ss imo). Also, a little criticism: why put enemies with hitscan weapons (scorpions, Cloned Soldier) when the tagline says "No Cover, All Man" ?
