Steam player and game stats for CS & CSS

I see CS and CS:S always in the top 10 Stats on Steam, but with CS 1.6 especially, I can rarely ever find UK servers.. at least not ones without all these stupid Warcraft mods and stuff, or Deathmatch mode.

Wish there was a way to summarise the Stats more specifically to which country.

Yes CS 1.6 is popular, but in what country? And what game mode are they playing?

I dont like any of the mods, like Warcraft or TDM.. I just like the pure old school style Counterstrike, and would like to begin playing Counterstrike again before the new Global Offensive is released.

Any advice to me? How do I find the "normal" servers that I want to play on, hosted in the UK or Europe at least.

Or is CS 1.6 dead for that? Maybe I am best sticking to CS:S?
Or should I just play Call of Duty until CS:GO is released?
