Not a bad price when you can get a physical copy of the game, instead of just a digital download...

Game registers to Origin anyway so a physical copy is a waste.

Agreed, digital is the way to go. But get it however you want, the game is awesome.

Been surprised for years why people want that physical copy for some unknown reason.

If a physical copy is the only way you'll get BF3, then get it...I don't mean to discourage anyone with my opinion

A few reasons I like the Physical copy...
1) My internet is slow - installing from disk is way faster for me.. 2) I like having a manual and the ability to sell the Physical copy if I ever want to!!!!!! |

Also you can't sell BF3 PC copy back to anyone since the minute you install it on Origin the game is forever linked with that account and can't be put on any other Origin account or taken off. Also I heard there is no manual for the game. Save yourself 10 bucks and just get the Origin version today for 30 bucks. |

I have a BF3 Limited Edition physical copy, but it's only because Amazon sold it for only $38 pre-order (includes Back to Karkand expansion for free).
If I were buying BF3 today, I'd get it from Origin, which is selling it for only $29.99 (digital download, does NOT include Back to Karkand expansion). |

If you whine to EA support hard enough, you can get the game removed from your account, so it's reusable.

Indeed you're wrong. When installing from the disc, Origin does say "downloading" or whatever, but it is actually installing data from the disc. For example, I was installing at something like 3MB/s, while my net connection can only do ~475kB/s.
