Buy it for $5?

You know the drill...

It's one of the sale items and I someone recommended it to me. Just wanted to see other peoples opinions (not reviews).

Gameplay is irrelevant with this game. Its got TAGES DRM, very nasty stuff - stay away.

I had the direct2Drive version. Windows kept telling TAGES was incompatible and I'm pretty sure it was doing things to my system that I didn't want.

So instead of dealing with it further, I just reinstalled Windows.

Game is a masterpiece but even so it is not worth the pain of installing TAGES.

Even if it's only 5 bucks, any game with TAGES is not worth it.

Windows 7 64 bit here. Never had an issue with it. Great buy even though I got it for free.

I got it, installing now. I am bit worried about the TAGES, but if it only limits the activations and doesn't restrict me in any other way, or blow up my computer, I'm fine with it. We'll see..

BTW, should I watch the movie(s) first before playing? Or does it matter?

I think you should make sure all your restore points are ready to go, because you're about to endure a nightmare.

TAGES gets it hooks into all parts of your system and if you have anything out of the norm, it'll make your life a misery.

dont listen to these amateurs, installed this game many times now, and didnt not have any problems with tages.

game it self is very good, if u like the Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick movies u need to play this game so u can get more info on the story + u get 2 games in one:

Assoult on dark athena
Escape from butcher bay (my favorite)

There are no bad games, only bad choice's

i sudgest do more research and buy it

Some people have no problems, other have to reinstall their OS to fix the stuff this DRM brakes. It's like a game of Russian Roulette.

Just got the game and playing it now. No problems from tages so far.
