Failed To Initialize The Renderer

"Unknown Error Creating The Renderer"

Skyrim was working perfectly FINE up until I started trying to run it a few hours ago.

Then, out of nowhere, all of a sudden, I get this error.

I've reinstalled my drivers, reinstalled DirectX, and reinstalled Skyrim.

And it's still not working.

I've done every possible resolution.

And it's still not working.

Can somebody explain these shenanigans to me?

im sorry to say that you maybe need to reinstall the game or reinstall DirectX.

There was they same problem with Fallout and many ppl needet to reinstall one of these things. You can google about it.

You could also try different Resolutons.

But i dont know it for sure.

I did all of those things.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled my game and my drivers and DirectX at least three times each now.

I've tried every resolution possible.

Nothing works.

Rght click on the game in your Steam library, select properties from the dropdown list, then in the Local Files tab, select verify the integrity of the game cache.

It would also be a good idea to check to make sure that none of the other software that you have running on your PC is interfering with Steam. There is a support list of programs with more information here - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...9828-SFLZ-9289

You know, I haven't. I can't restart it just right now, but I will later on and let you know how it worked out.

99% chance it'll fix it, I tell you what. I wouldn't be surprised at all.
