This is a rotating day an night cycle mod.the mod turns the city into a real day..
you now get a whole new gaming experience.
from the orignal static sunny day. as the day turns from morning to afternoon bad weather an then in to evening then night.. the mod also include's rotating sun an moon, .
it also has major weather @ lighting changes to the city.this is version 1.1 of the mod .ajusted for working headlights for cars. .

Simply unzip the file and drop the data folder into your 'My Documents/DeadIsland/out folder
That's it, load up and enjoy.

:P it isn't working for me. added the file to the out/data folder, nothing cos i don't think it takes that long, right? i don't see the sun at moresby or anything

click your windows button then click documents your see a folder in documents called dead island .. open that folder your see another folder called out.. open that folder n place the data folder in to that folder

yup, out/data/maps/ the file is there but it doesn't do anything, i place all the mods there doesn't work lol. i noticed that u said ur mod doesn't work with other weather mods so i made sure i didn't have anything else installed. i tried making a folder inside maps named act2a and placing the file there but it doesn't work that way either, i'm using version 1.3.0 same as u in ur first video so i don't know what could be wrong :/ i'm currently using Director's Cut mod but as far as i know it doesn't mess with weather in any way. in fact i tried horror weather mod and it works, also hard night mod and it works fine too

hi im in work at the moment ...when i get home ill check the download is not corrupted if its ok ill have a look at directors cut mod see if there s something conflicting hopefully have a answer for you later as i know your keen to try this

how could u tell i'm keen? lol haha i even tried uninstalling director's cut mod completely, same result. i noticed something tho, i installed horrow weather mod (HWM includes out/data/maps subfolders for every act, /act1a, /act2a and so on) and then ur mod, at the same time (i dropped ur file inside /maps), and moresby started at night, then dawn, but only once.also, i was checking another day/night cycle and they include several files, map files, weather files etc etc maybe i'm missing something?
