Connecting to Online Services

Most of times when i start game the "Connecting to Online Services" takes too long, other times its fast like 1 or 2 seconds. Is this normal?

sometimes it's fast...sometimes it takes 10 seconds.

no big deal as long as it actually connects

This happens to me every other time I try to 'connect.' When it does happen, it usually just gets stuck indefinitely and I have to restart the game or even Steam.

It needs patching. This never happened in MW2, for me.

exactly , same happens with me, sometimes takes more than one minute. usualy i quit the game and run it again. IT SUCKS...

Had the same problem. Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it goes forever. I found if I let it go after 3-4 minutes it will say something about the server not being available and try again later; then instantly connect the next time.
