Unlock bonus modes?

I'm wondering if there's a workaround for unlocking the bonus modes without beating the game first. I'd like to check out all the level up options and I know that one of the bonus modes auto-levels characters to 40. Is there a way to do this?

I don't think there is a way to do this. Not positive.
