Can't get DLC to confirm order

Hay I bought this game on direct2drive a while back and now I see there is a sale on the DLC from steam. But every time I try to confirm the purchas it keeps coming up with: "You can't buy this game because it requires another game to be able to use".

I already have the game and I want the DLC so how do I get this to work?

Discovered that the GotY addtion is the same prices as the 4DLC's so tryed to purchase that, only now it comes up with an error message saying try back in a minute but even when I give it a while it just gives me the same message.

When I get any Steam errors, I always restart Steam (or my entire system), a majority of the time this solve the problem.


FYI...The DLC bought on Steam can only be played with the Steam version of BL. So yeah, get the GOTY version.
