Try this texture pack!

If anybody is interested ive put together my own little texture pack. Well i say my own i must say a big thanks to the guys over at www.skyrimnexus.com who actually created these mods, Ive just took my favorite mods and put them together in on easy to install "Data" folder.

Its like 650MB of pure texture mods

, Easy to install too. Just extract the downloaded WinRAR to your Skyrim folder, Click YES overwrite if asked, All it will do is overwrite your current Data folder and add all the texture mods.

Be sure to back up your original Data folder before install, If you dont like it or something goes wrong delete the Data folder then copy your origional\backup data folder into your Skyrim folder.

Would be more useful for you to list what mods you've compiled and link them here. A lot of people here already have installed anywhere from 5-20 texture mods already. Why would I risk overwriting what I already have installed?

Based off your screenshots, I can guess that you're using...

Realistic water 1.5
Serious landscape retexture
Vurts flora
Enhanced blood (shot in the dark)?

I know it's a bit much to ask, but if could provide a video of you moving through the HD textures terrain that would be really helpful. I usually find that I'm not as big of a fan of the retextures as they sometimes lose the heart and soul of the game.

So a video showing off you walking past the textures would be really helpful, thank you!

EDIT: I'm realising you're being bashed for this and that, I'm sorry, but I don't mean to bash...

You've obviously spent some time and effort in doing this.

But higher (1920x1080+) screenshots would've been awesome

Well im on a GTX580 so FPS is fine here ... The fantastic thing about this game is the mods don't really effect the FPS.

You could make a copy of your Data folder before you overwrite it, If you don't like it then just delete the data folder and replace it with your old\backup Data folder.

Im uploading a video to you tube as i type. Ill Post it as soon as its uploaded.

Did the makers of these textures ok your packaging and redistribution of them? Did you ask them?

To be honest i haven't asked BUT i haven't read anywhere in the mods descriptions that i cant do what ive done.

Im not taking any credit for this, Ive just read on alot of forums that they wish here was some sort of massive texture overhaul out like there was with Oblivion ... I just thought i would make life easier by putting together all the mods i use into one large easy to install package.

True, but remember the fiasco with Morrowind Graphic Extender? Someone created a huge file worth of loose mods, put them together, and people who created the individual mods complained fiercely.

That said I'm still going to download your compilation, but I warn you not to get surprised when / if someone says something otherwise.

It's best not to assume anything. The guy who compiled the AMAZING Morrowind 2011 mod compilation got his ♥♥♥ handed to him by the mod community for doing exactly this.

I don't agree with their reactions, but there it is.

Holy crap dude, some of those things should be excluded. The only reason is because like the other people have said, this can cause problems for individual modders. If the people don't like a feature that you've included well now they're stuck with it unless they want to uninstall the entire texture pack.
