Steam is not opening

I've been having a problem since yesterday at 5:00 pm, steam is not opening. I keep trying and trying, rebooting, nothing is working. I need some help

EDIT: And Killing Floor is having an event. ):
Typical that steam would mess up when I want it most.

Have you tried deleting clientregistry.blob, SteamUI.dll and Steam.dll after you end the process from the task manager?

Your description is a little vague, also try to be patient when your thread is on the first page.

Is anything popping up after you double click Steam?

No, my cursor does the loading animation for a few seconds, and then nothing. I also went to the task manager, and every time I open steam, something is there that says "steamerrorreport" or something like that.

Hmmm, did you delete any files in the Steam folder you shouldn't have? Try re-installing the program or running it as administrator.
