Is Steam version pre-patched?

I see there's a patch for the original Satazius on the Astro Port website. Was that patch used for the Steam version too?

There is no version number that I can see anywhere in the game itself, the game directory, or the manual, so I can't give an answer. But from what I've played of the game (through stage 2 so far), there are no noticeable glitches or bugs.

The patch, according to the translation from Japanese, fixes a glitch that prevents the high score from registering when finishing the entire game.

I contacted Nyu-Media and they replied that this is the latest version of the game, so no worries.
