Yeah, 30,000 ships in insane....

I'm Probably just gonna alert as many enemy planets as possible, and leave my fleet in an "attrition zone" or something....So far, I've only lost 170-ish ships.... ;_;

Must be an easier way >.>

Would it be possible to create a game with 30k ships already spawned ?

It'd be really cool if you or someone else could post a savefile for us without the time to play right now.

Indeed it would be. Especially for those of us who bought the game this summer and didn't really play it ...like me, yeah, shame on me

I tried just having a factory continously build ships and send them to some enemy planet. I ran into a few glaring issues with this plan though.

1. Enemy sectors can have black hole generators that prevent you from leaving

2. The enemy sends massive waves of enemies at your HOME planet

3. My factory builds so fast that my "waves" eventually just overwhelm the enemy

Still hunting for an easier method.

I can think of a way to fix #3, InsaneDump. Throw your huge waves at the AI Home planet.

I was thinking about that too, but I have to find it. Also, I'll have to destroy every black hole generator on the way. The issue is the AI retaliates pretty fiercely as I found.

Difficulty 1 would be the easiest way to just throw ships everywhere in, but its also rather easy to beat the AI at that level so you might run out game before you run out of ships.

Try choosing AI such as the Shield Ninny, etc...that don't send waves at you? Lower their skill level to trivial/sandbox?

I've set up a snake type map against two difficulty 3 enemies. Obviously everything I build goes automatically to the end of the map but I've only lost 250 ships after 10 minutes... 300,000 really is insane. That's a proper several hour slog putting all your effort in.

That comes off as pretty condescending, but thank you.

Find an enemy planet with an ion canon and just rally your small ships to it. They get insta killed. I haven't finished it yet, I've just alt-tabbed and left it going like that with all my turrets + cap ships in my home system. Hoping it will finish itself eventually.
