White screen crash on startup

I just bought the game, but have been unable to play it. Whenever I start the game up, the game will be stuck at a white screen, and any keystrokes will prompt the "not responding" window.

I doubt this is a problem with my hardware, but just in case, this is my system specs:

OS: Windows 7
CPU: i7 - 2720QM
RAM: 8 Gb
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6900M

Is there any fix to this problem? I've tried updating my graphic driver, running the game as administrator, running the game in windowed mode (fullscreen.ini) and running it in XP SP3 compatibility mode, but nothing works.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?
