Golden Guns

I think I got a problems with Golden Guns. I want to get them all, and I though that you ave to complete entire game again to get another one. But when I started new game, and I get to Dinosaurus area, I found out that my Rocket Launcher isn't gold anymore! Any ideas, or I am doing something wrong?

Me and my friend thought the same thing as you did, but you have to deal a certain amount of damage with the weapon to get it in gold. You can see how much damage is needed in Player stats in Options.
