Um, it's not *very* popular, no. In fact, some people think it's dead. I suspect they have server issues or something, though, because I've been playing it steadily for a few weeks now, and there are always plenty of games going in my area.
I like it, but it does have issues. |

Auntie Weasel and I are on a streak of agreeing with each other.
The gameplay itself is fun, with a few minor flaws. There aren't many servers, and level balancing is a bit tweaked. But the thrill of playing a Necromorph and ambushing a clueless human is second to none. Worth it, but don't expect a TF2 of servers. |

Well, I'm kind of half hoping if people express interest in it, they might plug some of the obvious holes. I don't do a lot of online gameplay, and this is the first MP I've played where you're not just blasting away at each other. I like it.
Though probably the place to keep the topic alive is on the EA gaming forums. They keep teasing that they're looking to do some MP tuning. |

Alluring.
Well, we'll see. We can hope, right? I'd LOVE a friggen server browser. And so many fixes. |
